I just found out about the Wilderness Series and have read four of the six so far. Such majesty, such brevity of words to capture such a grand experience. It is unfortunate that your books are no translated in french, I spoke of the books to my friends and they are very interested but are not fluent enough in english to really enjoy reading it in english.
Thank you, Suzanne. I really don’t understand how foreign publishers come to a decision on whether or not to translate/publish a book. Except my foreign rights agent told me that Italian publishers almost always refuse to take on an American author with an Italian name. Thus you won’t find my books in Italy, either.

I have read all the Wilderness Series and the first two of Waverly Place Series. They are masterful and difficult to put down. You felt like you were in the forest with them or walking down the City street. One of my favourite Series, I keep telling others about them. Looking so forward to the third book of the Waverly Series.

Sara, Your Wilderness Series and I have been best friends for years. This is my winter year series. As soon as the first snow starts to fall I pull out the first book. Now I have all of your books and am so anxiously waiting for #3 in the Waverly Place Series. I reread my books many times and seem to just become part of the storyline as I read. I ADORE the Waverly Place series. It is a slice of my own family’s history and I can’t thank you enough for immersing me so beautifully in their world.
My Italian family arrived from Genoa to NYC in 1840. My great-great grandfather Charles Formoso was the first Italian to ever be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in the NYPD for his work against the Black Hand. He is all I can picture for Jack and Oscar both and it’s delightful. My family are all New Yorkers, from the top down; doctors, lawyers, teachers. We built two houses on Lenox Road off Flatbush Avenue, like Larks & Doves, and Roses & Weeds. 823 and 825 Lenox Road, which are now multi-family dwellings. My mother is Irish and Italian like Oscar. I adore your thoroughness of legal terms, medical terms, your history is immaculate. I sent my mother both novels and she was absolutely overjoyed. The Gilded Age is a lovely show, but my family were grocers and cooks and public servants, so not of that echelon.

The 3rd book in the Waverley Place Series is supposed to be released after 2023. I love the characters of your books and and the word pictures you create…. I find them so vivid I can sometimes smell the aromas you describe. Your description of feelings often elicit goose bumps, tears, suspense and laughter. I love your writing style for romance. You probably get sick of hearing “when is the 3rd book of the Waverley Series coming out”
but I’ll say it any way – when is it coming out? I’m 88 years old and feel like I might never find out what happens with Anna and Jack, plus the rest of the families. I’ve already read the Waverley Series and The Sweet Blue Distance three times and am holding my breath waiting for the next book. However, I will hang in there until the next book is published. I have a list of books from my favourite authors and they are like yours, part of an ongoing story, so I’m always waiting for the next books to be published. Buying books is my most favourite way to spend money. I pass the books on to my family and friends but always keep the best ones so I can read them again. I have read a book called “Winter Solstice” by Rosamunde Pilcher about ten times and the book is getting quite worn by now. Please excuse my rambling on but it’s a wet day here in the northern beaches of NSW, Australia, and I’m looking up your website hoping to read about the next book which, hopefully, will be published soon.
